Before Taking Meridia
Do not take Meridia whenever you have used a MAO inhibitor like Furoxone, Marplan, Nardil, Azilect or Parnate during the last fourteen days. Dangerous, severe side effects may take place whenever you take Meridia prior to the MAO inhibitor has passed from your organism. You had better not use Meridia whenever you are hypersensitive to Meridia components, or whenever you have:
* serious or irrepressible high blood pressure;
* an eating trouble (anorexia or binge-eating syndrome);
* a record of coronary artery disease;
* a record of heart disease (congestive coronary failure, cardiac rhythm upset);
* a record of heart attack or stroke;
* Whenever you are using stimulating dieting tablets.
Whenever you have whatever of these additional conditions, you may require to correct your dosage of Meridia or get extra tests:
* glaucoma;
* hypertension;
* liver disease;
* renal disorder;
* depressive disorder;
* underactive thyroid;
* epilepsy or seizure upset;
* a bleeding or blood coagulation upset;
* a record of gallstones;
* if you are older than sixty-five or younger than sixteen.
It is not identified whether Meridia will injury an unborn baby. Tell your physician if you are pregnant or intend to get pregnant when taking Meridia. It is not identified whether sibutramine extends into breast milk or if it could injury a breast feeding baby. Do not take Meridia without assuring your physician if you are nursing a baby.
